      哈密天湖铁矿是新疆东天山地区的一个大型铁矿床。天湖铁矿床产出在新元古界天湖群第三组变质岩系中,铁矿体赋存于白云质大理岩内并呈层状、似层状产出;碳酸盐岩蚀变部位的部分铁矿石变富,且有黄铜矿、闪锌矿等硫化物生成。矿石组构方面,具有细-中细粒状结构、网格状结构、残余结构,层状、条带状构造。矿床成因类型属于沉积变质-区域混合岩化热液叠加改造型。
英文摘要:
      Tianhu iron deposit is a large-sized iron deposit occurring in the third metamorphic rock series of Proterozoic Tianhu group. Ore bodies are layered or layeroid in dolomitic marble. At position where the marble is overprinted and altered by hydrothermal fluid the iron ore gets richer chalcopyrite and sphalerite are formed. The ore is in fine-medium fine, grid and residual texture and layering and banding structure. It is genetically a sedimentary-metamorphosed-hydrothermally reworked iron deposit.
