| One of the most conspicuous results of twentieth century manufacturing science technology has been the replacement of traditional materials by cheaper ones-plastics. This is the plastic age. But hidden with this evergrowing market is a significant technical and commercially valuable contribution from nonmetallic minerals in the role of fillers, which are compounded with polymers to make plastics. This article expounds the features of some non-metallic minerals and their application in plastic fillers, and defined the developing ways of plastic filler minerals in our country. |
